How we choose

Artists are chosen for their records and their influence, not their follower counts. Under the Radar picks need real releases on labels you can check and real booth time.

How we check facts

Biographical facts come from public sources: Resident Advisor, Beatport, Discogs, Wikipedia, official artist pages and interviews. Each page lists its sources. If we can’t confirm something, we leave it out.

Independence

Features are editorial picks and are never paid for. If a paid feature ever appears, it will be clearly labelled as paid.
